Water cooling
Explore our range of high-quality products perfectly suited for the thermal recovery system through water cooling. Enhance the performance of your LED bars, benefiting from top-tier efficiency and cooling.
One of the smartest approaches to saving energy is active water cooling. Such a system not only keeps the LEDs at the optimal temperature but also allows their waste heat to be used effectively to heat the aquarium. This heat is otherwise simply lost with traditional lighting solutions. With a heat recovery system, you can noticeably relieve the load on the aquarium heater. Read more here

Heat recovery with aquaLUMix and PRO² LED bars.
LED bars with integrated water cooling offer significant benefits. Firstly, they ensure excellent cooling of the LEDs and use the resulting waste heat efficiently to warm the aquarium water. Over time, LEDs in both household and aquaristics settings diminish in brightness. The standard lifespan value for an LED, such as 40,000 hours, indicates that after this period, the brightness of the LED will have decreased to 50% of its original capacity. Proper cooling can substantially slow down this loss of luminosity.
While a temperature-optimized aluminum profile provides passive cooling, active water cooling is often superior. It transfers the thermal energy, which would be lost in conventional LED bars, directly to the aquarium water, reducing the need for additional heating. This makes LED water cooling with heat recovery an effective energy-saving measure and a significant advantage for aquarists.

When using with sea water or deviant fresh water (eg very low PH), we recommend using the TITAN upgrade.
Advantages:
Optimal Temperature Control: The LEDs operate within the optimal temperature range to maximize luminous duration and performance.
Heat Recovery: The LED water cooling utilizes the waste heat from the LEDs to supply warm water to the aquarium.
Energy Efficiency: The power consumption of the aquarium heater is significantly reduced. LED bars with heat recovery pay off much faster.
Efficient Water Cooling: Two integrated XL channels for water cooling provide high flow rates, excellent cooling properties, and maximum efficiency. The system is virtually maintenance-free.
Flexibility: Connect the water cooling of several PRO² LED bars together.
Noiseless Operation: Our system offers noiseless operation for an undisturbed aquarium experience.
Special Features:
Integrated Water Cooling: Our aluminum profile allows unhindered heat exchange between LED and cooling water, while competitors have lower efficiency.
High-quality Construction: The XL channels carry 56% more water for superior cooling properties. Easy accessibility simplifies cleaning. Silicone hose and 180° bend are made of high-quality material for durability and shape stability.
